Kutumba Yoga

Kutumba at Freerotation Festival

Join us on the lawn for a stretch and some r&r!

Seanie + Shell, a.k.a. Kutumba, are joined this year by Ben, yoga teacher, and music from Dan Thorman. Together we bring an opportunity for you to take some time out and shake off the dust from the night before as we step into each new day. We’ll offer a variety of practices throughout the weekend, with movement, stillness and sound, feeling into what is needed.

Together, we’ll be guiding you through an intuitive, embodied flow practice, co-teaching and holding a space for you to relax, release, connect to your inner world and build healthier relations inside. Kutumba was born at Freerotation, a coming together of us both through our love for music and movement, so it means a huge amount for us to hold this space every year.

About Kutumba:

Seanie has been part of the Freerotation community for many years, offering her inspiring decorated wood circles and quotes scattered across the site. You may have connected to some words of wisdom whilst sparkling up your glitter in the bathroom! She’s been teaching in Bristol for a few years with her own embodied flow practice and also supporting the ‘Bristol Yoga Roots Project’ who bring socially inclusive and trauma informed classes to communities across Bristol.

Shell is a newcomer to Freerotation with her first visit in 2019, but she’s been part of the family for many years though music connections and finally got the opportunity to come along, she instantly felt at home! Shell’s unique gifts are handstands and acroyoga so aswell as guiding you through flow they’ll be an opportunity to have a go at these empowering practices. Acro Yoga is for everybody with no experience required so festival fun is the perfect time to have a go!
